Clif Bar Solar Project Goes Live - Largest Behind-the-Meter System in Idaho

Clif Bar’s bakery in Twin Falls, Idaho has completed construction of a 2MW solar array that provides up to 90% of it’s peak daytime power needs. This system was built to fit within the bakery’s biophilic design principles, including an integrated pollinator-friendly landscape and educational trail. This new system included both covered parking structures that are ready to support new EV charging stations and a ground mounted array. This system is the largest behind-the-meter solar project in Idaho Power territory and demonstrates a pathway forward to more solar deployment for large companies across the state.
