Fosterra and University of Bath Launch ISTEP to Support Sustainability Professionals Globally
Bath, England and New York, New York – Fosterra and the University of Bath are pleased to announce a new collaboration to help launch and grow ISTEP, the Industry Sustainability Transition & Engagement Partnership, a global platform designed to support sustainability professionals with practical resources, peer learning, and stronger connections between industry and academia.
As sustainability expectations continue to rise across supply chains, operations, reporting, and strategy, many professionals are being asked to do more with limited time, limited support, and rapidly changing requirements. ISTEP was created to help meet that need by offering a trusted network where professionals can connect with peers, learn from experts, and access practical tools that help move sustainability work from ambition to implementation.
The collaboration with the University of Bath brings added academic depth, broader visibility, and new opportunities to connect practitioners with students and emerging talent. Together, Fosterra and the University of Bath aim to create a platform that supports ongoing professional development while also helping strengthen the future sustainability talent pipeline.
Through ISTEP, members can access webinars, meet-ups, office hours, shared resources, case studies, and in-person events designed to make sustainability work more practical, collaborative, and actionable. The platform is intended to serve professionals across sectors, including sustainability leaders, supply chain teams, operations professionals, and others increasingly involved in climate and ESG responsibilities.
